Terms of Service

These terms apply to everyone who uses CODbattles.app ("CODbattles", "we"). By creating an account you accept them, together with the Community Rules.

1. What CODbattles is

CODbattles is a free, non-commercial community platform where Call of Duty clans organise matches on ladders. CODbattles is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Activision. Call of Duty is a trademark of Activision Publishing, Inc.

2. Your account

  • One account per person. You must be at least 14 years old.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Your Activision ID must be yours. Using someone else's ID is impersonation and leads to a ban.
  • Your username and Activision ID are public.
  • If someone else registered your Activision ID, you can claim it: both players verify with a live photo and a moderator decides.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings. It is deleted 14 days later; signing in before then cancels it.

3. Behaviour

The Community Rules are part of these terms. In short: play fair, report results honestly, respect other players.

4. What you upload

You keep the rights to what you upload (clan logos, screenshots, evidence). You allow us to store and show it on CODbattles as needed to run the service, for example a logo on your clan page or a screenshot in a dispute. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, or anything illegal, hateful or explicit. Clans that connect a Discord channel are responsible for that channel; CODbattles only posts match updates there.

5. Moderation and sanctions

Moderators can remove content, overturn results and issue warnings, strikes, suspensions and bans as described in the Community Rules. You can appeal a sanction once, within 7 days.

6. No guarantees

CODbattles is provided free of charge and "as is". We do our best to keep it running and fair, but we can't guarantee that it is always available, error-free or that every result is correct. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Match history stays, shown as "Deleted user".

8. Changes

When these terms change, we publish a new version and ask you to accept it before you can continue using signed-in features.

9. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
